They say "East or West - home is best". And these are not empty words. Home is a place where you feel relief, expect peace and comfort, a place that belongs only to you and your loved ones. But our return to home was filled with grief and sorrow. When we saw our crippled homeland, we shed tears and had a lump in the throat.
Such a green, lovely thriving city we grew up in, was defiled by those, we thought were friends. Destruction, robbery, terror came to the place where we spent our childhood. And many of those, who rejected to leave their homes, were brutally tortured, defieled and killed for the sake of someone’s vicious desire with no real reason at all. It is difficult to describe and impossible to forget the shock that we have experienced. It pops up in our memory every time we walk our native streets - now tained with evil.
The main feature of this coin is that it was made directly by the participants of this tragedy. We are the natives of Bucha, two friends who suffered during the occupation of our city. We developed the design of the coin and brought our idea to life. A little later, got very excited about this idea, we decided to make 3 types of coins with different coatings and create unique cases for them. Cases are also designed and created by us, and every coin has a case.
We are convinced that a coin is valuable only if its quantity is limited. That is why we firmly decided that the total circulation of this collection will be exactly 8000 coins (4500-Patinated brass, 2000-Silver-plated brass, 1000-Gold-plated brass, 500-Exclusive). Each coin will have its serial number (for coins with each coating - separate) which will be engraved in the middle of the case. After the last coin is sold, all original data will be destroyed. And your unique coin will gain historical value.
This is the Сoat of Arms of our Bucha. It represents the family
tree of Bucha with strong roots, that arose from merging four
towns, which were scattered around the railway station the symbol
of development and progress. There are oak leaves around the
crest, as a symbol of indomitable spirit, wisdom and strength of
Ukrainians.
The Сoat of Arms is surmounted by the crown as a symbol of the
aristocratic origin of the city. For the first time, the
possession of these lands by the Polish nobleman Lyasoti was
mentioned in 1630, where people lived and worked for the
well-being of the inhabitants of their native city for many years.
This side of the coin contains three main symbols that the inhabitants of Bucha will be remembered for years to come:
